Our democracy is under unprecedented attack, especially with regard to:
Voting rights and election integrity
Reproductive rights and privacy
Women's equality
LGBTQ rights
Civil rights and the dignity of all Americans
The events of January 6, 2021, when a sitting president attempted to overthrow the will of the people, were extraordinary. Before and since that horrific day, many others have continued to tear at the fabric of our democracy.
We must, as Americans, stand up and FIGHT for our democracy. Our nation has not been in such grave internal danger since the Civil War.
Republican members of Congress and the Senate refuse to hold those who perpetrated the January 6th coup attempt accountable. Republican governors and legislators across our nation continue to enact voter suppression laws to subvert the will of the people in upcoming elections.
Republican governors and legislators continue to enact laws to abolish reproductive rights and privacy. These laws are an assault on the freedom and equality of all American women.
We must, as Americans, STOP these attacks on our democracy.
